Peningkatan Pengetahuan tentang Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat di Sekolah pada Siswa SD di Pesisir Pulau Bawean

PHBS merupakan singkatan dari perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat adalah semua perilaku yang dilakukan atas dasar kesadaran sebagai upaya sehat dan aktif membantu kesehatan lingkungan sekitar. PHBS di sekolah yang diterapkan sejak dini sangat baik untuk mendidik dan menanamkan kesadaran akan pentingnya kebersihan sebagai upaya menjaga kesehatan diri dan lingkungan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang PHBS kepada siswa SD di pesisir Pulau Bawean, sehingga siswa dapat mempraktikkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode pelaksanaannya dilakukan dengan pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan LCD, buku saku, dan beberapa alat peraga. Pada kegiatan ini peserta diberikan soal pre test untuk mengetahui pengetahuan awal peserta tentang PHBS. Pada akhir kegiatan diberikan soal post test untuk mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan pengetahuan yang telah diberikan dibandingkan dengan pengetahuan awal. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan angka pemahaman dan pengetahuan responden setelah diberikan penyuluhan kesehatan tentang Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS).
